The Honda CB 750 was presented in 1968 and became a sales success in the USA
immediately after its market introduction in 1969. With an engine capacity of
736 ccm, 67 HP @ 8,000 rpm and a maximum speed of almost 200 kph, the machine
was revolutionary at its time. It was the first production motorbike fitted with
a front disc brake which guaranteed safe braking with ultimate deceleration. The
clearly arranged twin instruments were styling elements of this model and have
been kept on Honda road motorbikes until today. The CB 750 was designed for
sportive driving. Quick acceleration and safe handling even at high speeds were
its major qualities. By the time sales started in Germany at the beginning of
1970, the allocation for the German market was sold out already. The list price
was DM 6,495.00. Technical Data: Length: 2160 mm Width: 885 mm Height: 1155 mm
